Larkk’s debut EP, Cinders, is an intimate and deeply personal collection of poems manifested into songs that unfold like a series of whispered confessions.
Recorded in close-knit sessions with a team of talented collaborators—including producer Thomas D’Arcy (July Talk, Yukon Blonde, NOBRO, The Sheepdogs), and session players Dani Nash (Andy Shauf, Field Guide), Drew Jurecka (Dua Lipa), and more—McTaggart crafts a lush yet delicate soundscape where haunting pianos, layered vocals, and organic textures intertwine with ethereal electronics.

For McTaggart, it is a space between past and future—an evolution of sound and spirit. With Larkk, Danielle McTaggart isn’t just embarking on a new chapter—she’s creating an entirely new language of storytelling, where music and poetry intertwine to capture the beauty and ache of being human.
